SFL supplied their S-FLUE® twin wall stainless steel flue chimney systems for two architectural designed, off-grid cabin homes at the Tiny Homes Holidays on the Isle Of Wight boutique retreat. The S-FLUE® systems served two stunning Charnwood C-5 Series stoves in these unique accommodation spaces, completing this handcrafted British Built project with all three businesses manufacturing in the UK.

Located on the Isle of Wight, Tiny Homes Holidays sits in a natural meadow adjacent to ancient woodland. This tranquil setting is perfectly placed to allow guests to relax and unwind in nature whilst just minutes from Cowes harbour town. Each aspect is architect designed to tread lightly on the planet whilst offering guests honest luxury and comfort. The ingenious internal architecture will surprise you with how spacious ‘Tiny’ can feel. SFL supplied a complete S-FLUE® system for the ‘Saoirse’ cabin home, derived from the Irish meaning of Freedom or Liberty and the spectacular ‘Keith’ home, named after Keith Cunningham, the architect who created the space. The S-FLUE® systems served two stunning Charnwood C-5 Series stoves in these unique accommodation spaces.
The British-built stainless S-FLUE® Twin Wall Flue System complimented the black stove and the interior design. The internal and external system comprised a range of components, including straight lengths, extension brackets,90°bends, trim collars and finishing with a rain cap. Each stove utilised the aesthetically pleasing SFL D5 ceiling support and blended seamlessly and naturally into the fabric of the building on the ceiling. The S-FLUE® also matches the Tiny Homes eco ethos with its high-performance mineral wool, which is auger injected into a 25mm annulus between the inner and the outer. A mean insulation density of 250kg/m 3 offers rapid stabilisation of draught and excellent thermal performance. The insulation properties achieve a 50mm distance to combustibles and a 2-hour fire rating.
The luxurious log cabins now benefit from an energy-efficient stove and flue system. Also available in satin black, SFL’s S-FLUE® range of twin wall systems is perfect and safe for warming up any wooden cabin home or glamping pods. Its thermal capabilities meet the requirements for multi-functional applications serving a variety of fuels for domestic stove installations. The unique S-FLUE® 8 multi-barb twist-lock jointing system offers the ultimate ease of installation, quality and functionality. The fully welded construction, combined with a high-performance insulating medium, provides the optimum level of performance for both DEFRA-approved and the latest EcoDesign high-efficiency stoves, in addition to modern and traditional appliances.
