Nestled in Winchester, the former Capital of Britain are The Roasting Party. An artisan coffee roasting company, and much more. The operation serves four of its own speciality café outlets and supplies countless bars, restaurants and cafes throughout the UK and worldwide. The Roasting Party are speciality roasters, but with a difference and roast to mellow acidity whilst still creating body and sweetness, crafting perfectly balanced, moreish flavours.
With a growing customer base, the need for more beans was inevitable. The solution was introducing (yes, you guessed it!!!) the ‘Coffed SR60’!! A brute of a machine allowing batch sizes of up to 60kg to be carefully crafted by Luke into ‘Drakes’ a South American blend, or ‘The Captain’, a global mix of Kenyan, Columbian & Sumatran beans. Tasked with the installation of the fume extract was FBS flues, who specialise in all things flue – one of their specialist subjects is coffee roasters. The obvious choice due to the high temperatures with afterburners was SFL’s EUROPA® which is capable of handling temperatures up to 1000 deg C. For the cooling trays, SFL’s SUPRA PLUS® flue was specified.
Now complementing the existing Roastmax 15kg roaster production capacity has increased significantly. With no loss of production time, FBS completed the project on time and within budget. Twin Wall Flue System
EUROPA® is a high specification, high-pressure twin wall system capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000 Deg C. EUROPA® is used on a variety of appliances ranging from coffee roasting machines to backup generators.
Single Wall Flue System
SUPRA® is our single wall stainless steel chimney system designed with the commercial installer in mind. Pre-fitted seals make it a go-to product for any commercial condensing and positive pressure applications.
SUPRA PLUS® is our single wall stainless steel chimney for 80mm to 350mm diameter systems.
SUPRA XL® is our single wall stainless steel flue and chimney for 400 to 600mm diameter systems.
