University of Plymouth Spray Booth Facility– Supra® Single Wall Flue System

When FBS were asked to work with TARC Solutions on the installation of 2 state-of-the-art Nukeson Wet Spray Booths, complete with roof-mounted galvanised jet cowls for enhanced extraction they were ready for the challenge.

FBS choose SFL Flue & Chimneys Supra® in 500mm diameter flue systems, complete with roof-mounted galvanised jet cowls for the installation of two state-of-the-art Nukeson Wet Spray Booths.

The project was a successful collaboration between King Welsh, FBS Flue & Chimneys, Tarc Solutions, Eco-Nexus and University of Plymouth.

Background

Solution

The solution FBS chose to use was SFL’s Flue & Chimneys Supra® in 500mm diameter flue systems with vent cowls for termination and roof-mounted galvanised jet cowls for enhanced extraction.

FBS Flues also provided a full design specification and installation service, with full technical back up.

 

 

Result

The team wrapped up a full refurbishment of the university’s spray booth facility ready for the new academic year. As new and returning students make their way back to campus, they will be met with a brand-new  modern facility that will enhance learning and creativity.
