Europa® is tested by the Loss Prevention Council achieving a 4-hour fire resistance in accordance with the stability and integrity criteria of BS 476 Part 24 Duct Type B. It is available in diameters from 100 ID through to 1200 ID and is manufactured using a 1mm thick 316L stainless steel inner to 1000 ID and 1.2mm on the largest diameters all with 304 stainless steel outer casings, Standard annulus being 25mm with options for 50 and 100mm should the application demand.

Important Considerations

Performance of the appliances can be significantly affected by incorrect flue design and many other factors including:

Pressure Tight Performance – Very important that the flue is designed correctly to ensure the backup generators have a pressure tight exhaust system which is also suitable for high exhaust temperatures.
Specification to the latest fire safety certification – We guarantee you get high-quality, certified exhaust systems, perfectly tailored for this application. Fire Resistance Tested to BS EN 1366-13 – Fire resistance test for service installations (Chimneys).

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology – With clean air in mind, SCR can reduce emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) by using a catalyst. SCR technology can achieve a reduction of up to 98 % of NOx in the combustion process.
Attenuation considerations –To minimise the impact on the local environment Resonance Silencers are commonly installed close to the sound generating source, such as a boiler or engine, thus preventing the low frequency noise spreading through the full length of the exhaust system.
