Important Considerations

Performance of the appliances can be significantly affected by incorrect flue design and many other factors including:

Attenuation
CHP’s can have sound absorption built in to the appliances or attenuation may need to be calculated to work within the flue system.
Condensate drains
Careful consideration of condensate drains when designing the flue system for CHP systems.
Test points
The system must incorporate test points into the flue.
